Of course the first thing a fan would think about when talking about Sex and the city is the cocktail the four girls always drink: Cosmopolitan. So I had to do an alcoholic cupcake, I just had to!
I had a great time thinking about this challenge, making the cupcakes and of course eating them! Probably this challenge should have come in a few months because then I will be better at this whole decorating cupcakes thing and will have a better chance of winning but I just had to try it!
You can find the recipe I used here

Those are fabulous! What a terrific idea! And experienced or not, they are beautiful!

ResponderEliminarThey are really cute. The pink colour in the icing is lovely.
ResponderEliminarThey look so lovely and the pink is perfect - very Sex and the City. I do hope you win. Love the way you styled the cupcakes for the shoot. I must learn how to pipe icing the way you have xx
ResponderEliminarMireia, you are too sweet! I think your photos are great, too. Here's a website I found that might help: http://www.learnfoodphotography.com/
ResponderEliminarThe 2 things I've learned are to get your lens down low - I can't remember where I read this, but You can't see how thick a steak is if you photograph it from the top, so get counter-level and shoot it so you can see how thick it is.
The other one is to get close to what you're shooting. This is really important for food because it allows you to see the details & textures.
One final hint. Go into Design/Template Designer/Adjust Widths and make your central column wide enough to fit the X-Large photos - this will allow you to make your photos bigger so they really *POP*.
Thank u so much! Specially for that last tip!!
EliminarTienen demasiada buena pinta, y recuerdan muuucho a sexo en nueva york
